Ortho Design Foot Orthotics

If you are experiencing strain or foot pain, don’t wait; give us a call to book an appointment for a consultation with our Orthotist to see if custom orthotics is the right solution for you.

Custom Foot Orthotics

As certified Orthotists, we have the biggest toolbox for fabricating custom foot orthotics and service Kelowna, Vernon, the surrounding area, and the Boundary Kootenay region. Our onsite lab allows us to cast in various materials, enabling us to create orthotics that provide the necessary support while accommodating our clients’ shoe preferences.

If you’re looking for orthotics that really work, customization is the way to go. While generic shoe inserts may be convenient to find at your local drugstore, they can’t compare to custom orthotics. Ours are specifically designed to fit your unique foot shape, providing targeted support exactly where it’s needed. With their tailored fit and precise contours, custom orthotics offer a level of comfort and effectiveness that mass-produced inserts can’t match.

Ortho Design provides devices that enhance function for individuals with biomechanical, neuromuscular, orthopedic, and degenerative challenges. By utilizing our 25 years of experience and performing a thorough assessment, we can create options that optimize function and fit into our clients’ lifestyles.

Our assessment process involves a complete evaluation of lower limb joint mobility, alignment, and muscle strength.

The primary goal of our devices is to reduce stresses and strains on the lower limbs. We provide a base of support that transfers proper biomechanical forces to the rest of the joints above, realigning the feet and accommodating specific conditions or deformities. Foot orthotics can be highly effective for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia, diabetic pressure off-loading, deformities, residual club-foot, bunions, shin splints, achilles tendonitis, patellofemoral pain, and reducing symptoms of knee and ankle osteoarthritis.

You may be surprised at how much relief foot orthotics can provide for tired, painful feet!
